The NCFAS in Ecuador

We are very excited to announce that the North Carolina Family Assessment Scale (NCFAS) has been studied for use with families with vulnerable pre-school children in Ecuador. The resulting report was published in the “Journal of Child and Family Studies” in October 2023. The evaluation demonstrated “high internal consistency” and “corroborated the reliability and validity” of the Spanish version of the NCFAS. The research also “supports the effectiveness of the NCFAS in the Ecuadorian setting and underscores its potential utility” with “varied demographic groups within the country”.
